I'm nervous...

I'm going back to work tomorrow and feel myself getting nervous about my hair; I'm not really sure why...
My hair was done at the start of the Christmas holidays and so this look is going to be new to my colleagues and my students.
I think my concerns surround the extra attention and questions that my new look may bring. Did anyone else have these feelings when first returning to work etc?
My SO thinks I'm mad - he says everyone will love my hair!

Of course honey. But you get so overwhelmed with compliments and fascinatation that the apprehension goes away very fast.

Thanks for being a force on the WWW.

I would like to exchange banter about living in the UK: what is it like for you, your family? What has been your experience?

There is a saying about grass looking greener on the other side. I am always curious about other cultures and believe travel (literal or cyberlly) is a good thing. Wish this blog forum had a way to e-mail fellow bloggers without divulging their e-mails (some folk are private).

Oh yeah I was so nervous that I wore a wig the first week! However I really got tired of wearing the wig and really didn't care what anyone had to say about my hair, like Tanya says that the nervousness will go away sooner than you know it!

Thank You ladies!

Goodnapps - you were right! The compliments rolled in, as did the questions. I think I might need to type a factsheet to hand out!

Sistalocd - I think I might have thought about a scarf or something as well if it had been closer to my installation. As it is you can't see a lot of the parts anymore - does this mean I need my hair done?!(LOL)

Lovin'Locks - Thanks for dropping by. I have left a message on your blog but I do love living in London!

I was very nervous getting my SLs. I wore a headband for about a month because I had major parts. But after a while, I was like "the hell with it", lol. I stopped using the headband. Now I'm appraching 17 months and I am very happy.
